Redistricting the state of Kansas will take place this year. If you would like to stay current to those boundaries you can come here or go to the links on the right side and look for redistricting.
Redistricting allows for the shift in population areas and supposedly keeps the representation equal across the state.
Presidential race thoughts. I found an article by a college friend of mine, Pastor Jim Garlow. Jim is outspoken on his position as pastor of a large church and politically bold. I strongly request you go over and read this letter that Jim has written about Newt Gingrich. Jim is endorsing Newt for the presidential election.

The next Central Committee meeting will be held on December 12, 2011, at 7:00 pm. The meeting will take place at the Ottawa Church of the Nazarene, 7th and Elm.

Updates on the Presidential Preference Caucus
Discussion and vote on proposed changes to the Committee By-laws. The By-laws committee has worked very hard on this review process and is recommending some changes. The discussion began in the November meeting and will continue for at least 2 more meetings. There will be a vote on the initial proposed changes at this meeting.
ARTICLE XII
Amendments
Section 1. These By-Laws may be amended by a two-thirds majority vote of the members present at the County Central Committee meeting, provided a written notice of the proposed amendment and a full copy (thereof was put into the mail) of the applicable Article were sent by electronic mail, USPS or given in person to each member of the County Central Committee 7 days in advance of the meeting. The proposed amendment may be modified from the floor by a simple majority of the Central Committee present.
The above Article has the proposed additions underlined, and the proposed deletions (in parenthesis).
